Introduction
DaisyInstaller is a utiltiy to copy Daisy digital talking books between loactions. DaisyInstaller was developed for the Wyoming Medical Center and is free released under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.
Requirements
DaisyInstaller is a program for Apple Macintosh computers running MacOS X 10.3 or better.
Using DaisyInstaller
When run DaisyInstaller will ask you for the location of the directory containg the Daisy book you wish to copy as well as for the destination for the copy of the book. Daisy copy will then create a directory with a name derived from the book's title as found in the ncc.html or .ncx file of the book and copy all the files to this directory.
DaisyInstaller is a Universal binary application, fully VoiceOver compatible, open source and free.
Some Daisy books have many files and can take a long time to copy. DaisyInstaller can run in the background without any difficulty and is fully VoiceOver compatible.
